What Is a Layer 2 Blockchain? L2 Networks Explained for Airdrop Farmers
5m read·Mar 10
Ink is one of the fastest-growing L2 networks of 2026 — and you can deploy a fully on-chain NFT collection on it in under 5 minutes. No code. No Hardhat. No OpenSea setup. Here's the exact process using ZNS Connect NFT Collection Creator.

Ink is an Ethereum L2 built by Kraken. It launched mainnet in late 2024 with fast finality, low gas fees, and direct backing from one of the most established exchanges in crypto. The combination of institutional backing, growing ecosystem, and no native token yet makes Ink one of the highest-priority networks for early activity in 2026.
Early builders on Ink are establishing on-chain presence before the network reaches mass adoption. NFT collections deployed now carry a timestamp — proof that you were here before the masses. Several airdrop distributions from comparable networks have weighted early deployers and minters significantly higher than late participants.
The wallets that benefit most from new network launches are the ones already building when everyone else is still reading about it.
Deploying an NFT collection on Ink previously required writing Solidity, setting up a development environment, managing contract deployment, and configuring a separate minting frontend. The process took hours and required technical skills most users don't have.
ZNS Connect NFT Collection Creator reduces this to a single form — name, symbol, description, image, network. Deploy in one click. Your collection is live on Ink mainnet in under 60 seconds.
Every collection deployed through ZNS Connect NFT Collection Creator includes a complete set of features out of the box.
Public mint page — a dedicated URL at zns.bio/nft/[collection-id] that anyone can visit to mint from your collection. No setup required. Share the link and minting starts immediately.
50% of mint fees — every time someone mints from your collection, 50% of the mint fee goes directly to your wallet. The standard mint fee on Ink is 0.0001 ETH per NFT. With a 999-supply collection, a full mint generates roughly 0.05 ETH to you directly.
Fully on-chain — the collection contract is deployed on Ink mainnet. No IPFS dependency for contract metadata. No expiry. No renewals. The collection exists as long as Ink exists.
Instant verification — collections deployed through ZNS Connect are verified and gas-optimized. The mint page shows verified, instant, and gas-optimized status automatically.
Max supply control — set your own supply cap during deployment. Standard collections use 999. You can set lower for exclusivity or higher for broader distribution.

The entire process takes under 5 minutes on first attempt. Under 2 minutes once you've done it before.
Step 1 — Open the NFT Collection Creator
Go to zns.bio/gm-deploy?tab=create-nft&chain=ink. This opens the creator with Ink pre-selected as the network. Connect your wallet if you haven't already — MetaMask or Rabby both work.
Step 2 — Fill in Collection Details
You'll see four fields under Collection Details:
Ink Early BuildersINKEBStep 3 — Select Network
The network selector shows Mainnet (19) and Testnet (14). Select Mainnet and choose Ink from the dropdown. The mint fee shown at the bottom of the page will update to reflect Ink's current fee — 0.0002 ETH for collection deployment.
Step 4 — Advanced Options (optional)
Click Advanced Options to set max supply, mint price per NFT, and mint limit per wallet. Default values are reasonable — 999 supply, 0.0001 ETH price — but you can adjust based on your goals. Lower supply creates scarcity. Higher price increases your earnings per mint.
Step 5 — Deploy Collection
Click Deploy Collection. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. The deployment fee is 0.0002 ETH — approximately $0.40–0.60 at current ETH prices. Confirm and wait 10–30 seconds for Ink to finalize.
Step 6 — Share Your Mint Link
Once deployed, a confirmation modal shows your collection details and a mint link: https://zns.bio/nft/[your-collection-id]. Copy this link and share it anywhere — X, Telegram, Discord, Farcaster. Anyone who clicks the link can mint directly. You earn 50% of every mint fee automatically.
Your collection is immediately live at the mint URL. You can visit it yourself to verify — it shows total minted, max supply, mint progress bar, price, and a Mint button for any connected wallet.
The collection page displays: Live status, your wallet as creator, mint activity feed showing each new mint in real time, and a progress bar showing how much of the supply has been minted.
Early mints show in the activity feed as 0x...address minted #N just now. This creates social proof — visitors can see real activity happening.
You can share the collection page directly at zns.bio/gm-deploy?tab=create-nft&chain=ink to send others to the creator, or share your specific mint link zns.bio/nft/[id] to drive mints to your collection.

The best-performing collections on new networks have a clear narrative tied to the network's moment. Ink is in its early-adoption phase — the narrative writes itself.
Early Builder Badge — the most straightforward approach. A badge NFT that represents being on Ink before widespread adoption. Simple artwork with "Ink Early Builder" or the network logo. These collections work because the timestamp is the value — the contract deployment date and each mint date are permanently on-chain.
Community Role Badge — if you run a Telegram group, Discord server, or Twitter community focused on Ink or ZNS, deploy a collection as a membership badge. Gate access to channels or offer exclusive content to holders.
Milestone Collection — tied to a specific event. "First 500 Ink Testnet Participants" or "Ink Mainnet Week 1" — limited supply, specific window, closed after the milestone.
Airdrop Farming Proof — a collection for wallets that have completed specific on-chain activity. "Verified Ink Active Wallet — 30 Day Streak." This type of collection has utility beyond collectibility — it creates a credentialing layer that protocols can reference.
The key is to deploy early. The on-chain timestamp of your collection contract and each individual mint is permanent. Protocols that launch tokens later can verify exactly when your collection went live and when each address minted.
Deploying on Ink is among the cheapest deployment options across ZNS Connect's 19 mainnet networks.
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Collection deployment | 0.0002 ETH (~$0.50) |
| Your NFT mint (optional) | 0.0001 ETH (~$0.25) |
| Total to launch + hold |
Each subsequent mint by others: 0.0001 ETH, of which 0.00005 ETH goes to your wallet automatically.
A 999-supply collection that fully mints generates approximately 0.04995 ETH to you — roughly $125 at current ETH prices. A partial mint of 100 NFTs generates about $12.50. The deployment cost is recovered after 2 mints.
For context, deploying an equivalent NFT collection manually — writing the contract, testing, deploying, setting up a mint frontend — would cost $50–200 in developer time and gas across multiple transactions on most EVM chains. The ZNS approach reduces this to one transaction and less than a dollar.
If you're already doing daily airdrop farming activity on Ink, the 7-in-1 workflow at zns.bio/gm-deploy?tab=7in1 covers all seven on-chain actions — including NFT creation — in a single click. This means deploying your collection counts as part of your daily streak activity on Ink.
One session, one click, seven transactions: GM, GN, Deploy NFT, Deploy Token, Deploy Contract, Create Collection, Mint NFT. Your wallet builds a diverse transaction history across all seven interaction types — the kind of multi-dimensional on-chain profile that snapshot-based distributions consistently reward.
The NFT Collection Creator is the deeper tool when you want a full collection with public minting, custom supply, and revenue sharing. The 7-in-1 is the daily habit that keeps your Ink wallet active between collection deployments.
